Trying to think of & eliminate candidate monarchies for 36-member lineages that might have started in 1299. Guessing at an average of 15 years per king (inheritance may go sideways as well as to kids), we end up in 1839, does that help any. Estimate may well a bit on the late side.

1492 I think -- but that was the last remnant, and there were kings of several parts of Spain (eg the KINGS OF LEON) well before that; later united.

Can't be Portugal anyway, since Manuel II from Q1 was the 34th (or 35th) and last there.

I was guessing that one might be George VI as he was the last emperor of India, however wiki seems to think that the first emperor of India was c.1500.
