Buttered Wortes

Whan thei ben boyled ynough, salt hem; late none otemele come ther-in. Dise brede small in disshes, and powre on þe wortes, and serue hem forth.

Wortes = greens viz spinach, cabbage, beet greens, onion, leeks, parsley etc. My favourite line is "late none otemele come ther-in" ie "don't let any oatmeal try to muscle its way in!"
