so nearly there
Jul. 22nd, 2012 10:35 amKinda sick of camping in my own flat awash with dust and paint: every step forward is a step back -- the plasterers did a lovely job fixing up the rotten wall but they had to dismantle a bunch of shelves which can't go up again for three days... so everything on them is all over the floors of the semi-finished rooms.
Today I paint the front door: I've been meaning to since I got here in 1990 so that's good. And some other key detailing. Mon I'm in work -- Tue I hope I get the shelves sorted and paint that room; also, new bed arrives, to be constructed. Wed I clean everywhere like a mad thing and complete the details.
I think I'll miss my absolute deadline (=Wed) but no one has shown any interest in renting out during the Olympics so it's not an actual problem. Unless you know someone!!
