some excellent things abt work so far today

i. new wall-to-wall carpet in what was the library -- i love the smell of new carpet
ii. FIRE ALARM -- we all had to gather at meeting point "not stopping for blongings" (<-- ha right), but sadly it was a false alarm so we are back

Sadly, part of that New Carpet Smell are probably the result of what my industry calls VOCs or Volatile Organic Compounds, some of which contribute to things like respiratory problems and global warming.
