it was d0min!que l30ne's, which attempted to fashion the details of special relativity into a metaphorical model for the science of information (in particular how the net responds to record releases) -- i like d0min!que on ilx, and was sad and rather surprised about about this (but enjoyed imagining [livejournal.com profile] jauntyalan's and [livejournal.com profile] boyofbadgers's matching apoplexies had they been sat near me)

(to be fair to DL i was extremely jetlagged and the room was very hot so i wasn't in a particularly giving spirit, but the basic idea was just unredeemable i think)

Key question in determining potential for apoplexy: what was the equivalent of the speed of light being constant in all inertial frames?
