Who or what:
i: are endocrine?
ii: invested in the Goat?
iii: is overlooked by Calum's Hill?
iv: is repetitious (and inspiring) at Cardiff?
v: is neither brightly coloured nor feathered?
vi: were placed in 774 pots, 39 tubs and 24 boxes?
vii: nickname has been applied to the Ukraine?
viii: emphasises enthusiasm for a new idea?
ix: is flavoured with cloves?
x: is palindromic?

The theme here will presumably emerge when we have a handful. For xi, is there an bouze?

(sorry about yesterday i had a 50-page catalogue to proof) (people wishing to google earlier questions can have at them i think, inc.the executions one...)

Endocrine glands! (I fear that this is far too simplistic an answer)

The Goat was a nickname of Virginia Woolf's.

ix and x could be anything!

I am not very helpful today, am I?

yes vii) was the only one I knew - was quite confused by the vagueness of the others but will start thinking about bread now...

"tubs" doesn't seem a very biblical concept, somehow

Naan is palindromic, but that doesn't seem very impressive. Is there an alternate spelling of challah which omits the c?

Is there a Peacock Bakeries in existence?

I know there's a Hummingbird Bakeries in West London somewhere but don't know if that's too obscure...

i doubt the theme will go as wide as "bakery" -- it will be types of bread or loaf, or things with same in the name

I think Catherine has a cookbook of theirs! So not totally obscure.

Calum's Hill is the English translation of Ben Challum or Beinn Challuim in the Highlands (near Crianlarich). Googling this however doesn't reveal any obvious (to me) bread connection in the surrounds.

Googling this also reveals fora doing this quiz have said the above too, but I dunno if it got them anywhere. Could be red herring.
