Became an UNCLE with all that entailed. Six months as WEB CZAR. Plus untrammelled newfound piracy obvs...

Made none that I recall.

Meant to go to Morocco but no time or money.

[5] What would you like to have in 2010 that you didn't have in 2009?
More money for less work. A second book well on the way to completion.

Day that T!lly became officially fambly. Setting things right w.Vick.Hurtling round Soho with piratemoggy at daft o'clock hunting for MORE RED WINE. Grebt Yule Feast.

Getting BSF done, and being pleased with it

[8] What was your biggest failure?
Should have got further with planning and promoting my writing workshop, not that I had much time.

One weekend's horrific gastro-enteritis.

Maybe The Temple of Flora, for dad at xmas.

No one out of the ordinary: people reading badly; people confusing parochialism with politics; people confusing dickishness with militant principle.

Getting by.

Feeling the cogs slipping and the portals opening...

I finally read "The End of Alice". I think they put you on a register if you say it's your favourite book though. I've actually been really bad at reading books people gave me recently.

I wanted to step up a level and in various ways I did.

I'd have liked another six months as Web Czar, for my CV if nothing else.

I was 49. I think I did nothing at all on the actual day.

I wish various beloved friends had had happier years.
