1: i need to get my accounts sorted by next week
2: this is not that hard -- i just cut and paste my on-line bank-statements into xcel-spreadsheets
3: except i forgot that the co op only offers 12 months-worth of on-line statements, so i don't have apr-oct 2008 instantly handy
4: i can still do this by scanning the paper statements and a little reformatting but ugh bah
5: i could actually save money by doing it all myself you know and NOT PAY MY ACCOUNTANT, it is a zwillion times easier these days than it was when i started out as a freelancer when the ABACUS WAS STILL A SCARY NEW DEVICE bah

i have made 0 move towards "sorting out my finances" since i first became a full-time freelancer 12 months ago and my accountant is now RINGING ME and i don't fucking understand any of it and i've probably thrown everything out by mistake and the entire subject makes me want to hide under my bed and this is just not going to end well :(
