dubdobdeea: i heard the crash and tinkle at about 1am (i sleep with the window open when it's snowing so summer nights are an open soundbook to me)
b: i got up to check it wasn't one of my flowerpots fallen (not that it sounded like it, too far and too glassy, but once the idea was in my head i needed to check)
c: this mornin on way to swimmin pool saw the window opposite the front door smashed, assumed someone cruel or distraught had hoiked a brick through it, and felt sad
d: realised i had forgot my cozzie -- still on line w.towel -- and turned back to find my downstairs neighbour gazing at the star-smash in the window
e: we realised as we discussed it that my hearing (tinkle of glass falling far onto stone) and the remaining evidence (glass on the sill) seemed to prove that something had come through through it from the inside!
f: still unrepaired when i got back from swimming -- from my front room looking down i see it is a downstrairs bedroom -- WHAT WENT ON? PRYING EYES NEED TO KNOW
