it got up and went >:(

i am finding today distinctly unmotivating

so far i have managed so = 1xcross letter to l*r*b which i may not send, and THAT'S IT (abt m!chael m00re: they ran a soppy review which concludes by callin him the "last great American protest singer" wtf)

things i have got nowhere with that i planned to work on today:
i. taxes (ok this is pretty dull)
ii. illustrations for letter to vick's mum (but this isn't!)
iii. s&s review of t0dd h4ynes's dyl4n movie (and nor is this!)
iv. on-paper pro-con list of what i want out of my work/job/career, and don't (not dull but IMPORTANT)

soppiest of all

cleopatra is not a good movie and elizabeth taylor is not an actress that interests me much usually -- the weather has been glum today but i have certainly not... so why the sudden lump in throat at the final line and start of tears at the sight of the queen of egypt laid out dead in her glory ("was this well done of your lady?" asked the roman; "exceeding well done," replied the servant)?
