ok to get my various current supergiant projects -- inc.DALEK! TYGER! TR0LLSTORY! 4my r0b0t!! [other things]!! -- started and sorted over the next few weeks and months i need:

a: A TON* of new office storage-and-filing furniture (am just ginning self up for to make call to VIKING and er "grooming" my m4st3rc4rd into accepting what i want ov it if u kno what i mean)
b: an NU-LAPTOP i think -- which i can take to workshops and run on-screen text surgery via (ie project up big so it's not just me working in word blown up huge ideally)

currently i have an imac osx 10.2.8 which is on its last legs -- its screen is v.wobbly especially until it warms up (tube on way out?) and i need to cleanse it thoroughly of spyware amd clutter, and use it mainly for storage probably

i don't want top of the line: ideally i want something on discount a bit bcz it's NOT to pof the line -- plus portable, that i can go on line with and carry round and that -- advice oh lj?

My Macbook is awesome and I've had zero trouble with it so far (the odd glitch aside - nothing that couldn't be resolved with closing the screen and opening it again).

If you want to stick with macs, the basic MacBook is currently £699 and will probably do everything you want.
