i: chuck it out <--- i am bad at this with anything that doesn't physically rot
ii: post it on hackney freecycle
iii: melt it down into a lump (and doubtless ruin a pan)
iv: make back into candles? this seems the "responsible" solution b-but...

i'm me-e-e-lting oh whataworld

thing is i think i actually want to remake the waxfall sculpture in question, given that i still need to light my bathtimes with candles -- so a big lump of was will come in handy

sadly the original centrepiece (= a tiny little rubber witch) seems to have vanished (possibly swallowed up in wax somewhere -- another reason to melt it all down!)

Can you melt the wax in a bowl above a pan of water to avoid pan-ruin? Like with toffee and ting?

not sure if that will be hot enough (or if i have a big enough bowl)!

i am currently using a non-satic deep baking tray in the oven as they cost abt 99p and i have several -- at least this way i can rescue the other little rubber monsters trapped deep in the flow <--- important obv

even a TINY spillage of oven-melted wax from a large non-stick deep baking tray causes 1xFVCK of a lot of "candle" smoke in yr kitchen -- and you kinda HAVE to burn it all away there and then or everything you bake will taste of wax (in a bad way)
