He was the sort of chap who'd come out with that sort of thing, also would explain why I have such a burning familiarity to it- I seem to remember some sort of bitchy missive in 20 Love Poems & A Song Of Despair where he's like 'you, I wish to shag all summer; you, I wish to shag FOREVER but you will have to understand that I also have to shag other people all summer for god's sake, I'm a poet'
