maison sukrat has had no central heating or hott water since last monday, largely bcz there has been no one able to be around to let the BM in: viz piratemoggy has a job and i had family stuff to deal with in shropshire

thursday is the earliest he can be there -- i am slightly surprised i actually have cover (ie that it of all things had not lapsed) but either way hurrah

in the meantime we have been heating the air by burning wood* and the water by boiling pots on the stove -- we briefly considered actually lighting a fire UNDER the bath but fet there were risks unloved

*there are now woodchips and ash tracked through EVERYTHING inc.my BED :(

Am feeling UR (?)pain dude. My boiler failed one Sat night last month and it wasn't until the following Thursday that the requisite part came through so it could be repaired.

Luckily werk has showers in the basement.
