luckily they arsked for a letter of confirmation, which can now say "NO WAIT..."

A: i am rubbish obvs
ps it is inherited rubbishness -- dr b and i just sadly concluded that the security contract that mum signed just before she died -- for burglar alarms and phonelink to the police and etc -- was a total pointless rip-off; and dad had not dealt with his own bank account since about 1962...
we tracked down the firm in question via the internet -- all the numbers in ther literature were dead -- and discovered a big consumer-rage thread on how they had been featured on WATCHDOG.
