dubdobdeei: so this is a good day to take stock of my various life projects
ii: instead i am meeting up with one of my oldest pals in the world (hmmm she would not like the import of that phrase -- she is as young-seeming and twice as young-looking as me) to see her off on the next phase of her life adventure (=three weeks in sunny brisbane) -- except this won't be "instead" because she will lecture me non-stop about stepping up to the mark in work love and art (hurrah!)
iii: in a magnificant and topical effort to prove my green credentials, my birthday present to myself is going to be a detail astrological reading (take THAT so-called scientific rationalism, what have you ever done for me)
iv: ftb GOR IS IN RETROGRADE (ok in fact you can't have retROGrade w/o gor being in retrograde)
v: the critical watchword is velikovskyan heliocentrics
vi: it is nice to be a perfect square again -- my 36th birthday ended with a magnificent rainstorm; this morning i was woken early by (a) a titanic thunderclap over hackney and (b) a happy birthday text from rainy mcbrainy
