hurty back news
Sep. 23rd, 2010 01:47 pmbooked in for a pricey* islington back massage -- my experience of this before (with physiotherapists) is that you feel really yuk after the first one, ftb the pummelling releases all the trapped toxins
i have been a bit banjaxed and indeed poleaxed by this -- i have had the problem before every now and then but never for more than a couple of days; i know i had got into bad desk habits at home (my good chair fell apart at the end of last year and the replacement was just a handy kitchen chair, not built for posture)
anyway, the worst thing is that mornings are way the worst time: i sleep OK but on waking am finding moving very painful and difficult (mattress currently on floor and anyway fine; not too soft or anything)
*could be worse as there's a special beginning's price -- i know i can get it via NHS for free, but not for a month or so...
