i: i think it is all sorted, for a whopping £1300 less than our original quote last year
ii: naturally our hideous horrible evil insane neighour gave the guy doing maximum grief, including not bothering - -after this was requested -- to NOT use the washing machines or toilets at the key points
iii: i have no doubt she will also contest the bill
iv: luckily this whole thing has been so protracted that our insurers got fed up of waiting for hers to be brought in, and paid up THEIR estimate of half the job's worth, which was by itself more than the guy who just did it is charging us
v: so there's no point at which we're out of pocket here!
