hopless

finally got round to project of either transferring everything from my old imac g3 to the unneeded imac g4 that work gave me -- using the "hold T down/linked by firewire" method jauntyalan suggested

but can't get either mac to appear as an external drive on the other's -- haha even when i plug BOTH ends of the firewire in... i am 100% certain when i tried this out just before xmas i got it to work, in one direction at least :(
