elaborate and possibly silly tech query

i have an imac g3 of which the screen is massively dysfunctional (and a CD is trapped in the CD port)

i just got given -- by work -- an office-discarded imac g4 (with no manual, and no keyboard)

A: plainly i should simply transfer everything -- is there a neat way to do this? (firewire slaving?)
B: switching the keyboard from one to another is not arduous but it is boring
C: in the interim the g3 is my wireless hub, but i am a bit reluctant to change this till everything else is moved
D: so is there a way i can use the screen of the g4 to function as a readable screen for the g3 (firewire slaving won't let me use the web or emails on the g3)
E: i guess i am asking about setting up a mini-network -- the problem currently being that the ethernet ports i would want to utilise seem to be occupied by the wireless stuff

my absurd finances pt [numbers run out this high]

a: ok so bcz i forgot to invoice at work for two months in a row (?!) my account "ran low"
b: in the meanwhile -- as everything takes "five days to clear" these days -- i wrote a cheque transferring what was needed from a savings account
c: forgetting that that account had been wound up/transferred to another bank entirely, so the chequebook i used was defunct (note to self: throw away defunct chequebook)
d: it took those concerned MORE than five days to inform me of this problem
e: so all my direct debits got cancelled pah
f: i am in the middle of restarting them all, which is a boring pain (but not complicated)...
g: ... and received the following xmas present, viz from [a certain utilities company]

DDD: my DD got cancelled and i am restarting it (blah blah)
CUC: certainly sir, what level would you like it set at?
DDD: how much do i owe you?
CUC: well sir, we actually owe YOU!!
DDD: how much?
CUC: haha, £1053.oo
DDD: blimey!
CUC: would you like a rebate?
DDD: i think that would be nice
