off v.shortly to shrops for 4 days for various admin -- financial and medical -- re dad and etc; which means NO INTERWEBS :( (unless my neighbour has wireless i can piggyback off, which he didn't last time i was home) and hence NO RESPONSE to various interesting discussions begun here there and everywhere >:(

ps did you know that the original publisher of frank l.baum's the wonderful wizard of oz made so much money from its runaway success -- 106 years ago! -- that he bought himself an island and made himself king of it! this has become my lifeplan too
