jeepers my study floor is wonky

ok i now have -- courtesy two friendly burly men who assembled it all -- a tall CD tower, a tall half-width shelf unit, and an 18-tray unit on wheels; my burrow is become a labyrinth; and yes, how warped and unflat is the floor! where i want to put the CD thing, if it's true to the wall and the shelves, it's a full half inch away from the floor at the front (ie the floor falls from flat half an inch in eight inches!)

but hurrah ftb everything is going to plan today: they came at 9 as promised, and were gone by 9:20; now back to that review
