the response to THIS plus a detailed marked-up copy of the first eight pages i saw has led to 1 x good meeting where they hung on every word and asked me for more of the same! plus a style guide!

the actual money negotiation is yet to come but i am in a strong position = they are a bit over a barrel timewise (not to mention competence-wise) and they know it

i wz just readin a review of the upcomin book by CHARLES STROSS and it looked interesting (= ORCS-EYE-VIEW POLITICAL SWORD-AND-SORCERY afaics) and i thought I NEED NEW BOOKS TO PUT IN PILES AND NOT GET ROUND TO FOR YEARS
