ii: alix made me larf on the bus by use of the phrase "a tit in a ruff" (she admitted afterwards it was probably a finch)
iii: the prostitution ring used by just-resigned governer of new york Elliott Spitzer charged up to $5,500 an hour -- i am no expert on such matters but that seems pricey
