the meetings abt my future world domination -- which were scheduled in the WRONG ORDER -- are now in the RIGHT ORDER, and i have three more days to prepare for my pitch

(which may even be unnecessary if a meeting i am NOT at this afternoon goes to plan)

somewhere at dad's house there is a v.ancient card game called "lexicon" which is basically scrab w.cards instead of a board -- you needed quite a big table and i forget the scoring system (i assume it was just the scores on the cards plus bingos but there may have been elaborations)

YES! it wasn't that ancient, it made it into the 80s at least! it was kind of a cross between scrab and rummy, we played it lots.

Pete has CONNED me into playing a really shit version of scrabble where it doesn't tell you if your words are valid or not and you can challenge and GET YOUR POINTS TAKEN AWAY BOOOOOO. I am losing - VERY DISPLEASINGLY - and the computer has merely compounded this outrage by giving me the tiles QINNNNN.

This is the first time I have played with it and I am losing.

With the normal version I have gone 17-4 (inc a bagel! 6-0! over Matt DC).
