i-x: IS THE ANSWER BREXIT? >:(

Ktee here on phone! x is the planet jupiter, as the juno probe arrived late last year. I think that viii is someone - possibly monty don? - who did a biography, my family and other dogs, the title based on my family and other animals by g durrell.

This was the only one I knew straight away on the first read-through :)

i. is Brexit related! Ans. = D. CAMERON ("I was the future once")

[identity profile] marnameow.livejournal.com 2017-01-12 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
And now I am Marna's Least Loved Politician Ever (and that post has some competition. f*cking referendum)

'on both sides of the shell'
This is not the answer at all, but they're totally missing the sad, sad death of lovely L Cohen, which was not as horrible as that f*cking referendum but still so, so rubbish.

The age of lust is giving birth, and both the parents ask
the nurse to tell them fairy tales on both sides of the glass.
And now the infant with his cord is hauled in like a kite,
and one eye filled with blueprints, one eye filled with night.

Ktee yet AGAIN you can tell this is bugging me can't you! Might iv have something to do with something uncovered at Pompeii or Herculaneum?

[identity profile] jeff-worrell.livejournal.com 2017-01-13 03:28 pm (UTC)(link)
vi. would seem to be Margot Honecker
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/07/margot-honecker-the-purple-witch-of-east-germany-dies-aged-89/
(the reference to 'lager' here meaning concentration camp rather than beer)

Not top of my list of 2016 lamented deaths.

and iii. is of course Paul Daniels. You'll like this answer…
