(as all our guests have been bcz we know awesome ppl)
unexpected bonus: on the way home i ran into p3nny r33l in the street -- nme writer of (very) yore (i mean the late 70s), who i bump into abt once every 12 years, even tho we live in the same part of the city (i see him more often off buses) -- and he said "thanx for writing nice things about me on the internet" <- those very words
anyway i was glad to, he was my favourite favourite writer as a tiny, so stylish and fascinating (he adapted a runyonesque argot to tales of reggaefied london, and mod london before that): and i'm pleased he seems to be flourishing
the corner shop has started stocking fresh croissants, which is good for my breakfast and bad for my figure

how did that happen? -- i pay by direct debit so it gets out of sync, and more so over the summer, when the heating is not on, but £1000! i will call and ask for an actual cash windfall refund i think
